Author: The newest version of Microsoft operating systems, Windows 7 was designed to have fewer features but with more focus, particularly on multi touch support. If you are a Windows Vista user and thinking about upgrading to this new OS, you should know that there is not much difference. On the upside, it has a new taskbar called the Superbar and obvious improvements in systems performance.
On the downside, Windows 7 does not come with Windows Mail, Windows Calendar, Windows Photo Gallery and Windows Movie Maker. Instead, these applications are included in the Windows Live Essentials package.
